The BUBBLE stand was the most remarkable out of the whole Comic Con Russia 2019. We didn't just sell comics, but we also offered all the visitors to test their faith and vestibular system during our quest dedicated to "Major Grom: the Plague Doctor" movie.

The rules were simple: everyone who wants to pass the test had to collect three stamps on a leaflet given at the beginning. To do so, they had to complete three tasks. After receiving all three stamps they could go back to get their presents: the first issue of Major Grom, reprinted with a special cover for the festival, and one of the three prizes — a bracelet, a keychain, or a sticker-pack.

The Plague devoured this city, and there are lots of people who can see that. The Plague Doctor won his place inside the hearts of people who got tired of lawlessness, lies, and insolence, and thanks to him those people found the strengths to act. The Plague Doctor's followers are quite initiative. On the very street where the Plague Doctor had had his first revenge, near the store, an ominous fire storm appeared. The trial by fire was your first part of the quest. You had to come out alive and not allow the Plague Doctor's speeches to drive you mad. Yes, we know that those are the difficult times we live in, and it's important to fight those who put themselves above others… But those who survived this task got their first stamp.

Next, all participants had to show off their speech and detective skills. The only one who could get them the second stamp was one of the Plague Doctor's followers, hiding somewhere at the Authors Alley. But nobody knew who and where would they be, so the participants had to charm the authors and get the truth out by themselves.

And finally, the third stamp was to be received from the Plague Doctor himself. But trust us when we say that finding him was no easy task! There were lots of his followers and fans of his style at this festival, and the participants had to find out exactly which one of them was the real Plague Doctor.

With all three stamps it was then time to go back to our Major Grom stand and get your prizes — and buy all the new releases dedicated to Igor Grom's adventures: Igor Grom: Repeat after me, the fifth volume, a few variants of the Major Grom 1939 book and the Major Grom: Like a War comic, and also the unique Major Grom: the Plague Doctor issue with a special cover printed exclusively for the festival (the latter we were giving out for free after the quest completion, but should you want a second one — you'd had to buy it).

Aside from new comics, you could find your favorite old ones there as well, plus a wide variety of merchandise dedicated to the brave detective from Saint Petersburg and his exciting adventures.

It was at Comic Con Russia 2019 that we presented out movie Major Grom: the Plague Doctor, dropped the veil of mystery and announced all the actors, gave everyone a chance to get their autographs, told you a bit about the plot, the filming process, and lots of other things you wanted to know about the movie.
